Latest news

Well, Hugglets was a big success as usual. Well done to Glenn and Irene. The organisation was fantastic and everyone had a lovely day. I had my two best friends Maureen and Anita with me for the day, Anita helping behind the stand and Maureen busy taking lots of photos. Thanks, you two, you were both a great support.  It was so nice to meet new collectors and have a chat. Some of my bears, hedgehogs and elephants found new homes and I met the lovely Sally Thomas who is opening a brand new bear shop in Kettering in November and she asked me about selling some of my bears and elephants in her shop. So a few of my creations are now excitedly waiting with her for the grand opening. Good luck Sally….

Hugglets preview

Well I think I am nearly ready for Hugglets. The bears, bunnies, hedgehogs and elephants are ready to go. My stall is planned, and lots of business cards printed. Very soon the bears will be added to my bears for adoption page so you can get more details. If any of you want a lovely day out on Sunday 8th September why not treat yourself to a day in London at Kensington Town Hall for the Hugglets Teddies 2013 festival. Come and meet the bears and have a hug. I will be in Hall 1, Stand 30. For more details pop along to the Hugglets website www.hugglets.co.uk

But here are some of the bears etc I will be taking with me

Needle felted Bunny

Here is a quick preview of the bunny we will be needle felting at the next class on Thurs 7th March. As the class is full, I will be having another class for the same project on Thurs 14th March. There are still a few spaces left on this one if you would like to book. As with all the needle felting classes, you can do what you like, you don’t have to make whatever the current project is, so if bunnies are not your thing, just do whatever is. For those of you who are doing the bunny you will need  wool roving in the colour of your choice and if you want inner ears, paws and face a different colour, then bring two colours. You will need perle in brown for the nose and the claws. Any of you who used to do the beading classes and have any fire line left please bring with you as that is what I used for the whiskers. If you want your bunny to hold a carrot or maybe some spring flowers just bring a small amount of those colours too.Needle felted bunny
